CHAARG Strong is a leadership development program open to any CHAARG exec team leader. We created this program because we understand that as female leaders in college, you are the future female leaders of the world. We believe that empowered women, empower women + want to make sure that we are setting you up for success as you enter the *real world,* so that you have skills from your time in CHAARG that last long beyond your college days.

This Program Will Help You:

#1] Build Skills. CHAARG Strong helps you to build leadership skills that you can easily articulate onto your resume + share during interviews as you take what you’ve learned  into the *real world*. Here are a few skills you can expect to develop during the CHAARG Strong course:  

  • Identifying your leadership strengths + how to utilize them 

  • Managing your crazy schedule as a college student + CHAARG leader 

  • Having tough conversations + conflict resolution 

  • How to talk about CHAARG on your resume + in job interviews 

  • Being flexible + adapting to change 

  • What kind of team player you are + how to be a great team player

#2] Build Community. One of the biggest resources you have in being a CHAARG exec team leader is the ability to connect with other CHAARG leaders from across the country. We know that the more people you meet + know, the more opportunities you have to share, learn, + grow in your perspective. CHAARG Strong will further connect you with other CHAARG exec from our 77+ universities across the country!

#3] Build Relationships. We believe that leaders learn best through experience + relationships with other leaders. Having a mentor in your CLC + RCL are opportunities for you to learn from girls who were recently in your shoes. Through CHAARG Strong, you are encouraged to build a relationship with mentors in the CHAARG community ++ to get to know them + their experiences as well as lean on them during tough times!

CHAARG Strong Kicks Off In June With A Workout + Webinar Led By Sarah! 

  • Attend this webinar + workout to learn more about CHAARG Strong, meet other CHAARG exec leaders, + start CHAARG Strong! Sign-ups will be in the June 1 Exec Newsletter [which is when the course content will begin releasing]. Save the date for June 22 at 7PM CT // 8PM EST! 

What exactly does CHAARG Strong consist of? 

#1] Monthly Leadership Modules. 

  • On the 1st of every month, a new module is released that focuses on a different leadership skill. 

  • These modules will be our leadership focus for the month -- in the module you’ll be able to watch videos, read content, + complete journaling prompts.

#2] Monthly Leadership Webinars. These are at the heart of being an exec team leader + are a great way for you to meet + network with other CHAARG leaders outside of your university. 

  • To graduate CHAARG Strong, you’ll be required to attend 3 of these monthly leadership webinars -- although attending as many as you can is certainly recommended!

    • There are 3 opportunities every month to attend a leadership webinar [the 3rd week of the month]

  • Every Monday leadership webinar [3rd Monday of the month] is led by Sarah. 

#3] Office Hours + Mentor. Every month, your CLC + RCL will have office hours so you can schedule a time to connect with her. We encourage you to use this time to connect with her, ask her questions, ++ dive into the challenges that you are having. 

  • To graduate CHAARG Strong, you’re required to have one office hour meeting with your CLC or RCL! 

  • If you are on track + completing CHAARG Strong through February,  you’ll also have the opportunity to complete an office hour with the Director of Leadership, Sarah! 

#4] Relationship Building with CHAARG Girls Across The Country. 

A] Facebook Position Groups. We’ve created these for every position ++ they are an awesome way for you to share ideas, ask questions, + reach out to other leaders of CHAARG across the country. We highly encourage that you use these to form relationships with other women in CHAARG Chapters as well as ask questions + brainstorm ideas for how we can improve + build CHAARG! 

B] CHAARG Strong Slack Workspace. We love having our teams utilize Slack for their communication. As a CHAARG Strong member, you’ll get access to a CHAARG Strong Slack channel where all members of Team CHAARG will also be a part + share their own leadership articles, advice, + focuses. This is a great way to expand your network + continue to meet other CHAARG women. 

CHAARG STRONG FAQ

When can I start?  

You can enroll TODAY! The modules will officially kick off with an intro module in June + the workshop ++ webinar on June 22 at 7PM CT // 8PM EST. A new module is released every month + you'll be notified as they come out via email. You'll also get reminders to complete them in the bi-weekly Exec Newsletters. **If you enroll after June, no worries -- you'll still be able to catch up as all the previously released modules will still be accessible! 

How do I receive the information? 

Every 1st Newsletter of the month will have the Leadership learning module for that month as well as the month’s theme. So, just read the Exec Newsletter ++ stay up to date with the Leadership Portal : )! 

How much time will this take?  

This program is built to be a manageable part of your schedule! Each module should take no more than 2 hours every month. You can space this out throughout the weeks or do it all at once - work it into your schedule! 

What does it take to graduate CHAARG Strong? 

  • Complete your year term as an Exec Team member 

  • Complete all CHAARG Strong modules on the CHAARG Leadership Academy  

  • Attend a minimum of 3 Leadership Webinars throughout the year 

  • Attend 1 office hour session with your CLC or RCL throughout the year 

  • Successfully transition + mentor the CHAARG leader after you! 

What do I get for graduating CHAARG Strong? 

  • Completing CHAARG Strong is an experience in itself -- you’ll develop skills that will change how you walk into your first job after college. These skills will allow you to deliver at the highest level + grow yourself to effectively impact others. As recent college grads, we know how important this is + we also knew how important it was for us to build the deepest + most impactful level of training that exists on college campuses. You’ll of course receive a special *graduation certificate* [one that you’ll be inspired to display ; )],  skills to build your resume + give you a program to talk about in any job interview. You'll also receive an exclusive gift from us that is not available to any other CHAARG girls [the coveted bolt necklace!].
