CHAARG Strong is a leadership development program open to any CHAARG exec team leader during their executive leadership term. We created this program because we understand that as female leaders in college, you are the future female leaders of the world. We believe that empowered women, empower women + we want to make sure that we are setting you up for success as you enter the *real world,* so that you have skills from your time in CHAARG that last long beyond your college days.

#1] Build Skills. CHAARG Strong helps you to build leadership skills that you can easily articulate onto your resume + share during interviews as you take what you’ve learned  into the *real world*. Here are a few skills you can expect to develop during the CHAARG Strong course:  

  • Identifying your leadership strengths + how to utilize them 

  • Communication: Having tough conversations + conflict resolution 

  • How to talk about CHAARG on your resume + in job interviews 

  • Being flexible + adapting to change 

  • Presenting yourself with confidence

#2] Build Community. One of the biggest resources you have in being a CHAARG exec team leader is the ability to connect with other CHAARG leaders from across the country. We know that the more people you meet + know, the more opportunities you have to share, learn, + grow in your perspective. CHAARG Strong will provide opportunities for you to connect with other exec team leaders from across the country through our monthly leadership webinars. 

#3] Build Relationships. We believe that leaders learn best through experience + relationships with other leaders. Having a mentor in your CLC + RCL are opportunities for you to learn from women who were recently in your shoes. Through CHAARG Strong, you are encouraged to build a relationship with mentors in the CHAARG community ++ to get to know them + their experiences as well as lean on them during tough times!

CHAARG Strong Kicks Off July 1! 

  • Enroll in the course + complete our first module, led by Sarah + Elisabeth! 

  • Getting started a little late? That's OK. Each month a new module is released, so catch up as you can! Graduation from CHAARG Strong is April 2022 (but you'll need to be caught up by January in order to graduate!). 

#1] Monthly Leadership Modules. 

  • On the 1st of every month, a new module is released that focuses on a different leadership skill. 

  • The module consists of an introduction to the skill video from Sarah, a team CHAARG member sharing their story with that leadership skill, resources for you to utilize in improving the skill, + journaling prompts for reflection. 

#2] Leadership Webinars. Most months in the CHAARG Strong course will have a leadership webinar component. Every  leadership Webinar is led by Sarah from Team CHAARG + will include discussion around that month's topic as well as brainstorming solutions to different challenges. 

  • There will be one leadership webinar every month -- the day/time of leadership webinars will be determined in a survey during the July CHAARG Strong module. 

#3] Office Hours With Team CHAARG.  Every month, all of Team CHAARG CLC's + RCL's will have office hours. This is a great way to connect with a variety of members from team CHAARG + network with them!  There are 3 requirements to completing CHAARG Strong: 

#1] Complete All Monthly Leadership Modules. This must be done by April 2022. 

#2] Complete a Minimum of 4 Combined Leadership Webinar + Office Hours. You can do this however you see fit (for example 2 leadership webinars + 2 office hour sessions; 4 leadership webinars; 4 office hour sessions; 3 office hour sessions + 1 leadership webinar; etc). 

 **You can only have office hours with the same person from Team CHAARG once.

#3] Complete your exec term + train the incoming exec leader in your place.

All graduates of CHAARG Strong receive a CHAARG bolt necklace + graduation certificate! Not to mention, skills that will last a lifetime. 

When can I start?  

You can enroll TODAY! The modules will officially kick off July 1.  A new module is released every month + you'll be notified as they come out via the exec newsletter. You'll also get reminders to complete them in the bi-weekly Exec Newsletters. **If you enroll after June, no worries -- you'll still be able to catch up as all the previously released modules will still be accessible! 

How do I receive the information? 

Every 1st Newsletter of the month will have the Leadership learning module for that month as well as the month’s theme. So, just read the Exec Newsletter ++ stay up to date with the Leadership Portal : )! 

How much time will this take?  

This program is built to be a manageable part of your schedule! Each module should take no more than 2-3 hours every month. You can space this out throughout the weeks or do it all at once - work it into your schedule! 

What does it take to graduate CHAARG Strong? 

  • Complete your year term as an Exec Team member 

  • Complete all CHAARG Strong modules on the CHAARG Leadership Academy  

  • Attend a minimum of 4 leadership webinars +/or office hours throughout the year 

  • Successfully transition + mentor the CHAARG leader after you! 

What do I get for graduating CHAARG Strong? 

  • Completing CHAARG Strong is an experience in itself -- you’ll develop skills that will change how you walk into your first job after college. These skills will allow you to deliver at the highest level + grow yourself to effectively impact others. As recent college grads, we know how important this is + we also knew how important it was for us to build the deepest + most impactful level of training that exists on college campuses. You’ll of course receive a special *graduation certificate* [one that you’ll be inspired to display ; )],  skills to build your resume + give you a program to talk about in any job interview. You'll also receive an exclusive gift from us that is not available to any other CHAARG girls [the coveted bolt necklace!].
